Capitalism Works Better Than Being On Fire

Let’s roll with some comparison and contrast.

Think Laws of Natural Selection.

So… A fair amount of people “liked” this story recently featured in Business Insider:  Advice For  Startups From A Giant Robot Dinosaur. Here’s an excerpt:

BE ON FIRE

WORLD FULL OF IDEA.

ALL NEED IS BRAIN.

MOST HUMANS HAVE BRAIN.

IDEA BY SELF IS COLD.

JUST SIT THERE. DO NOTHING.

IF WANT DO SOMETHING, NEED FIRE.

NEED BE ON FIRE.

It’s certainly entertaining. And, I’m sure a lot of people that aren’t as entrepreneurial as they think they are sent it to all their friends.

But, read more:

http://www.feld.com/wp/archives/2011/10/be-on-fire.html#ixzz1ch5kMogb for it’s perspective. Do it!

…however, Chip Brackely shared with me a recent article penned by Brian S. Wesbury, “The story of MF Global – Capitalism Works”. Go read that, and pay it more attention. Do that (even more)! Because, here’s an excerpt from that:

Capitalism deals with this fact of life very well.  Winners (those who operate with integrity and wisdom and read the needs of customers well) accumulate more assets.  Losers (those who try to cut corners, cheat people or misunderstand customers) have assets taken away from them.  There are always exceptions to the rule, but as time marches on, assets flow toward those who use them best.

Let’s be part of the Solution.
